Quimper Trinket Dish
5-1/2” x 4-3/4”. The French call this a "vide-poche", meaning a place to empty one’s pockets of small change or whatever. It is a delightful size and shape for so many things: soap dish, nut dish, desk catch-all, and, of course, it is adorable just sitting somewhere. From the HB factory, ca. 1925. In excellent condition, just a few tiny glaze flakes off the dark blue rim, at the bottom.
