A pair of very rare lions unsigned from Malicorne, PBx, great detail, note the painted faces, nice use of color, circa 1890, light crackle glaze, excellent to mint condition(pic glaze wear on the inside of one of the lions crown. Base is 6.75 x 3.5 x 6.75" high. Reference the book on Leon Pouplard(PBx) page 28 by Alain Champion. you can see the lions on the display shelf.
